31st. This month was spent acquiring materials and building a pole brake with which to bend the rudder horn and tailplane "hockey stick" parts. Here is the finished (but crude) pole brake with the rudder horn ready to bend.

 

 

2nd. Construction officially starts, with WIX-T13-04, a tiny rudder rib gusset made from 0.032 angle stock. The part was too small to use the band saw, but hand hacksaw, file, and cutoff wheel did the job nicely. Ordered nylon rod material to make a pole brake for bending the rudder horn (top laser-cut piece).
